The Sticks Up! Challenge—which runs from March 15th to April 12th, 2026— is a preseason skill-building and leadership initiative designed to get sticks back in hands across the Marblehead girls youth lacrosse program, 1st grade to 8th.

How it Works

• Each player will receive a challenge grid of age-appropriate lacrosse challenges to work on at home... everything from wall ball to partner passing and a few surprises in between. Each square is a short, specific skill activity (wall ball, ground balls, passing, shooting, movement)

• Guides help parents / guardians and players understand what each challenge looks like and how it helps them develop as a lacrosse athlete.

• Players check off and date the grid squares as they complete activities. At the end, parents report their child's progress via a Google form (results will be visible to coaches only). Prizes for the number of challenges completed!
